'There was a dance when creating this, a dance of gradual layering on the paints over days, then a gradual scraping off some of those layers, more layering on, more scraping off, revealing, covering up, wiping, scribbling- then this emerged. We all play a game of hide and seek sometimes in the process of uncovering and discovering self.'
